EuroChem, SUEK set up transport co with 50,000 railcars, 6 ports
MOSCOW, Jan 18 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer EuroChem and Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK) are establishing a joint transport company and ceding more than 50,000 cargo railcars and six sea ports under its control, a representative of SUEK told PRIME on Monday.
"National Transport Company was established at the end of 2020 to further develop the transport business. The railcar fleet EuroChem and SUEK, amounting to more than 50,000 railcars, and also six sea ports, is commissioned for management of the National Transport Company," an official of SUEK said.
The company is to become one of the largest of Russian Railways' clients with a 115 million tonne per year cargo base.
